Has anyone been able to run a comparison between the effectiveness of the "Yagi" and "Reflector" style of range boosters?I am particularly interested in 5.8 mhz....
A half wave dipole at 2.4 Ghz would be about 2-1/2 inches in length, which would match the antennas on my Smart Controller. I'm assuming the two antenna array is for diversity reception considerations. On the other hand, Yagi antennas are typically have a driven dipole or folded dipole, center fed. So slipping on, what "looks" like a Yagi reflector and directors onto a dipole antenna, may be sub-optimal . . . but then again?
