is there a tutorial for setting way points? dji go4 app.

I tried to do a waypoint route today and it didnt track the way i wanted.

What i did was fly and set points along the path. When i executed the waypoint, the mavic flew the path, but did not turn directions so the camera was always pointing one direction. Is there something i am missing so the camera faces the point of travel?

Yes the settings. When you select your previously recorded way-point route from the list, look up at the top right of the screen and you will see tiny cogs or a similar icon representing settings. Select it and in there you can chose from 3 camera orientation settings. From memory they are , as recorded, aligned with route and manual or something to that effect.

Waypoints seem to be one of the few things that can be vastly improved by use of 3rd party product, based on the evidence I've seen.

Most other stuff DJI has taken care of. I think this must be by design, as they don't necessarily want people getting ahead of themselves with waypoints.
