Mavic Deliveries - UK

My replacement from CVP comes tomorrow.. so they've got some more units in (or at least one)

I'm 45 on the Heliguy list. Happy to maintain my order still, I admire their honesty at the very least :)

Let us know when yours is dispatched - it'll give a clue as to where they are up to. I suspect you may just get yours before Xmas if they really are getting 15 a week.

Someone who is 19 in the list got theirs last week.

Amazon.co.uk just charged my card for my October 6 order. Nothing changed in the order details yet. Hopefully something is moving along.

Am I right in thinking DJI are actually fulfilling your order which was placed on Amazon?

Rather than the Mavic being sold and delivered by Amazon themselves.

I don't know. I checked my bank account at 11am and there is a pending charge from Amazon EU for €1224 which works out at £1049. I have a VAT no so don't pay the VAT.

Christ, I ordered from them on November the 10th. Wonder what'll happen to that?

I think you'll still receive your order eventually, I just believe Apple have had enough of giving people false hope and selling something they can't fulfil. You'll probably find it will become available again next year once most preorders have been fulfilled

Have a look at your Amazon order, and there should be a line that reads "Sold by:" followed by a company name. The charge will come from Amazon regardless of which company you've bought it from.

Had an online chat with one of their specialists this morning and was assured that mine will still arrive eventually and that they've not been advised by their management to cancel any existing Mavic orders.

Just looking at the price differences between the UK and US:

Fly Less
US: $999 = £785
UK: £1099
Difference = £314

Fly More

US: $1299 = £1020
UK: £1359
Difference = £339

:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Did you add sales tax? Averages 7.5-9% on top.

Just had to contact Amex about DJI not having refunded my cancelled order, which was 'confirmed' on 22nd Nov. What a shambles. Amex are now charging it back to DJI.

Suck on that one DJI! :)

My UK order has shipped!

DJI-direct, Fly-more combo, 2016-10-04 09:51:53 (UTC).

I guess I can cancel all my other vendor orders now :)

So 14.5 weeks after DJI announced the Mavic they have got to the end of the first week of orders.. :eek:
