Koozam sent me an email they are delayed another 5-6 weeks. I am #280 out of #600 orders they have pending and have only shipped 20....wtf....

If anyone wants to punch me in the face....well.....

Technically Best Buy is not in delay, they have shipment date as 11/30. Though I'm not holding my breath

First flight success!

This thing is nuts.. I've never flown a drone before and it just took off and sat there in mid air like it's supposed to.. pretty quick little thing too. It's dark here so I didn't go very far, too many trees nearby to be flying around too much in the dark. I got disoriented a few times and the controls aren't automatic yet but that will come with time I'm sure

It's surprisingly quiet too. I was really expecting it to be louder for some reason.

Would be really nice to have another battery or two though.. the one I have is charging back up now.. gah

Because of a dent eh? Mine's got a hefty one on the lower left, they didn't seem to mind. In hindsight I should have asked if there was another one, I was to excited to see the tiny box to care at the time. They also couldn't locate the props I bought for in store pick up... Eh oh well, they props seem to be around now.

I'm so excited! I get my Magic tomorrow. I travel all the time for work. I have been in San Antonio while my drone has been sitting at the local UPS store in KY waiting for me to pick it up. I fly home around 3pm tomorrow... I'm going to pick it up, charge the battery and hopefully be ready to fly Saturday morning.

Got tired of waiting called apple. They found a mavic in another state. I purchased it for in store pick up because they wouldn't ship it to me. I got a courier to pick it up at the store for me and ship it to me. With the courier service and shipping it all cost an extra $100. But I get a mavic on Monday.

This entire pre-order fiasco is a freaking mess! 100% of us on this forum pre-ordered via various vendors and 80% are still waiting. Then a couple of guys like myself walk into Apple stores and buy off the shelf. I'm very glad that others are able to do the same. I wonder if more of us "shelf buyers" out number the shipped pre-orders.

Yea it was the apple specialist that gave me the idea.

Hardest part is finding a courier in the area that would do it. Spoke to 4-5 and only 1 actually got it done.

Those of you considering buying more than one with the hopes of flipping it on ebay quickly, don't delay too long. It's pretty obvious that the supply is increasing and as such, the demand may not be as high as you're anticipating by the time you list it.
