    Firmware Differences? 400/550/600/700?

Scroll all the way down to the bottom of "General Settings" - Tap "About".

DJI Goggles Finally here, but illegal!

But in fact they do!! FAA even says so: FAA Says Pigs Can Fly More evidence: Woman Takes 70-Pound Pot-Bellied Pig On Plane For Support: 'He's Quieter Than Most Kids' Of course the pigs appear to be within VLOS (except for restroom breaks).

NFZ Limit Cannot Take Off After .600 Firmware

Lot's of people have reported problems with mismatched aircraft and RC firmware. RC downgrade takes much less time, less than a minute if you've already done the aircraft.

Been getting maximum altitude reacted at about 10 feet

From page 51 of the manual- No wonder people have so many crashes into buildings and surrounding trees. If you leave VPS on you may never get high enough for a solid GPS link. VPS doesn't work worth a darn over grass or my asphalt driveway. Limits like this go back to the Phantom 3, but the...

Proper terminology for those new to the FAA

Thanks for the clarification. I'm in the USA (Is USA the right term? Not sure anymore.)

Can you go back to 0300

I just downgraded to .400 today using the DJI Assistant 2. The .300 FW wasn't an option even though that was what came installed on my Mavic. The same options were available in the Go app.

Proper terminology for those new to the FAA

Well I'll be darned. I went and dug out my original license issued in September 1968 and it does say CERT. NO. 187XXX on it. I've been calling it a "license" for 49 years. My bad! Not only that, it says I weigh 135 and my hair is Brown - I wish! It least it has my sex right so I know which...

Is the Litchi app compatible with the new firmware?

Yes it's ok now. Here's the answer straight from Litchi:

    Not updating firmware.....

I'm sure it's fine now but going back a few years there's a history of firmware or app updates forcing the other to update for compatibility. If you don't put a halt to automatic updating, you may some day find that your living room is within 5 miles of an air-hockey tournament that somehow...

Not all SD cards created equal!!

Oh, I missed that part. P4P has a much faster max bit rate, 100 Mbps. Of course you would want to have cards that will work in both. I'll try to remember that for future purchases.

Not all SD cards created equal!!

I've heard that too but DJI's spec for the Mavic's write speed is only 60 Mbps. So any card that supports continuous write over 10 MBps (UHS-1 etc) should work. For what it's worth, I've used the 64 GB Sandisk Ultra card (the one the OP returned) for lots of 4K video on my P3 over a couple of...

    Some drone humor, anyone?

    Combination Stick Command...a bad thing?

Hi Casey, I'm a pilot too and that airplane, as I stated, was over the beach, not open water. It flew no more than 75 feet over the top of many dozen cars, trucks and people. You can drive on the beach here. If it hadn't been for unusually light winds that day there would have been a lot of...

DJI Go 4.0.6 for iOS is here

So glad they've fixed the erroneous "Growth of Value" display. I've been sweating bullets over that. (Well, I might have if I understood what is was for.) I finally found some explanations with Google but I don't get it. What's Lv 26 or whatever mean?

DO NOT REGISTER YOUR DRONE HERE - IT IS NOT THE FAA SITE

Just to be clear: the link I posted is the actual faa.gov registration site - not a 3rd party site. I just logged in to my account to be sure. I was referring to Google making you go through a bunch of scam ads with official looking names before the actual FAA site. No wonder people get fooled.
