You plug the little adapter into the Mavic battery. Then use a standard USB cable from the adapter to the micro USB on the top left of the RC. Like you normally charge it anyway.
I recommend to use DJI's USB adapter for the flight batteries. This way a battery used for flying with 20% charge left can be used to charge the controller or the mobile device.
No need to carry separate power banks.
My 4.1.x app complained one time that the Mavic's firmware which I had at .700 was too old and it refused to launch!
Extremely bad since I was in a remote place in a foreign country and had no change to change the situation..
That's when I went back to .400 and 4.0.6
That's not what happens with me.
Hangar tells me it's not compatible and refuses to do anything.
Your problems are maybe the Mavic is set to video or sports mode..?
Thanks. I tried the most recent update as well. Still refuse to work. The camera view shows nicely, but it does not start taking pictures or let me do anything else
Just found that Hangar 360 won't work with my Mavic's firmware version .400
Who knows when this incompatibility was introduced and which firmware version is required to run the latest app?
Any workaround is highly appreciated.
