Well this is good news and much better than the previous laws. Still needs improvement but nonetheless better than it was.
Interim Order No. 8 Respecting the Use of Model Aircraft - Transport Canada
Hey guys was wondering if anyone has taken their MavicPro to Mexico? I've heard numerous issues but was wanting to take mine down for my wedding to get great video and pictures. I don't want to have it confiscated or have to pay silly fees. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
I have these exact same filters, I bought them after watching the review on drone valley. Doesn't interfere at all with the gimbal. Also price was great. I paid $35 Canadian on Amazon.
I'm in Courtice and I fly quite often down by the lake and in a nearby soccer field. Having said that we are out in farm country. I've flown a lot around here.
I updated and everything was fine! Flew 2 short trips, the only major downfall is it reset all of my settings!! so dam annoying!! The last firmware didn't do that?? what gives??
Ok so went back out with last battery and right at the very end of the flight this happened. now it only lasted about 5 seconds and the GPS mode kicked back on. But no where near as bad as before. I wonder whats causing this???
So updated to the new firmware ran the Mavic through 2 batteries and everything went awesome! no dropping from GPS to ATTI mode, I also notice the gimbal wasn't leaning like it was the past few flights even after trying gimbal calibrations. Hoping this fixed my issues. Seems to have so far...
I truly believe this is a firmware issue as it happened to my first MaviPro thanks the lord for Amazon second Mavic same thing happened but I was more prepared this time. I am running a iPhone 7 plus. Last failure was flying down by the lake with zero interference. I am going to try tonight...
Boy I'm very tempted to try this new firmware out as the last was a total bust for me with constant signal loss. I was actually going to roll back to the 550. But I will give this a go. If it doesn't work I will roll back to the 550. Lets hope I don't loose the Mavic!
