Mini 4 Pro Would Not Come Down

As an airplane pilot, an irresponsible drone pilot bringing his aircraft so high in the air where the rest of us are flying, p…sses me off to no end. The last thing I want is hit a drone at 250 Kts while flying a jet. However I would also blame the drone sellers for not requiring a basic...

Hanatora charger keep batteries at 60%

Thanks all for your answers. I appreciate it.

Hanatora charger keep batteries at 60%

So I don't fly much. Maybe once or twice a month. (M4P) Should I purchase the Hanatora charger to keep the batteries at 60% most of the time? Do you guys still leave the batteries on this charger unattended? I am hesitant leaving Lithium batteries on their own on a charger without supervision...

    Strobes lights for MP4

So even on top, you can still see the strobe? I used to have a mount for a Spark, long ago, but it was mounted on the back legs, facing me as it was flying away. I was wondering if I should get the same thing...

Mini 4 Pro and the FAA

And to finish what Bigal wrote, RID and registering the drone are two separate things, somewhat independent from each other. RID will mostly be used by law enforcement, and if need be forwarded to the FAA, depending how big was your screw up…:-) Registering is strictly FAA.

    Identify this Plane

Citation Latitude. None of them are used by any governments. None of them carry surveillance measure. (Geez people!) The two helicopters hovering are more than likely unrelated to this flight. Signed: Latitude pilot, and occasionally drone pilot…:-)

    Strobes lights for MP4

There are multiple strobes available in the market, including some small enough for the mini. Just curious to what you guys are using with what attachments… Thanks

DJI mini fell off on Cliff of Moher Ireland. Any idea how to lift it up?

Perhaps it's some sort of Karma, as the cliff of Mother are a no fly zone. https://www.cliffsofmoher.ie/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Environmental-Policy-2023.pdf

Mini 4 pro battery in minutes

I hear that they pack so many bells and whistles on the small batteries of this drone, that the flight time is perhaps not as great as initially thought. If you have been flying it for a while, would you mind posting flight time in minutes for normal operations, and going home around 25% of...

    Mini 3 and remote ID

Does anybody know if the mini 3 will comply with the FAA remote ID by September this year? Thanks

    Drones and air travel

Traveling with your drone is no problem for the airlines or TSA. I do it regularly. However, you must keep the batteries in the cabin with you. You may also NOT fly your drone while in flight. Don’t be THAT guy…😉

Okay, now that the Mini 3 Pro has officially been released. Will you buy it?

Does the mini 3 comes with the remote ID requirement for September ?

Cross border flights, whose rules apply?

Usually, there are 2 answers to this: - Apply the rules of the country you are flying for this flight. - Also apply the rules of the country where your drone is registered. Use the most restrictive regulations if different from the country you are visiting.

    Life of a drone

Sometimes it is not the drone itself that you should worry about, as they can last a long time… BUT Depending on which device you choose, an app can become outdated or no longer supported. Batteries are next. The way they are maintained, or lack thereof. The number of charges will affect...
