Just pulled the trigger and it should be here tomorrow. Will update my thoughts when I get my hands on it.

I think the reason that it didn't work is because the Nexus 7 that I had was an earlier version, and I don't think the hardware can keep up with the DJI Go4 app. Looking into the Moverio BT-300 now and will pull the trigger once I get confirmation on the Rochester Shade.

Thanks for your feedback. I gave it a shot and hooked up the controller with the Nexus 7, but the image was very choppy and the lower half of the video are all mosaics. Guess it didn't work for me, and I think I will pull the trigger on the Epson Moverio BT-300 and use it as a dedicated tablet...

Many thanks to you all who had provided so much feedback regarding the decisions for choosing between the DJI goggles and Moverio BT-300. You guys are awesome! Looks like I will pull the trigger on the BT300. Right now I see the drone version is available both on Amazon and BH Photos & Videos...

I have a 2013 Nexus 7 at home, and I haven't touched it for quite a while. Can it keep up with the video? It seems quite slow now compared with other android devices phones that I have (S7 Edge & Motorola Droid Turbo). I did a factory reset and disabled a lot of the factory installed apps...

Ordered from DJI direct on Oct. 20th, shipped on Dec.13th and it is now on my desk! Unbelievable!

Guess what? Checked my email this morning and saw that my Mavic Pro Combo had shipped, and the estimated delivery time is this Friday! Ordered from DJI direct on Oct. 20th and shipped on Dec. 13th. Just have to wait another three days!

Just went over to dji website and refreshed my order page, and they have updated my address and assigned FedEx in the shipping details, but the status is still pending! Hope to be able to get it before this weekend. Ordered on Oct. 20th directly from DJI.

Placed an order with DJI direct on Oct. 20, and since there is no feedback from DJI at all, placed another order with Very Drone on Nov. 29. Both orders are fly more bundles, and both status are still pending. Keep my fingers crossed and hope to get either one before Christmas.
