I use an ipad mini 2 and it no longer will support the DJI Go 4 app. The processor is too slow and the screen will freeze mid flight. I now use the Litchi app and this took
care of the screen freezes. To use the DJI Go 4 you need to go with the ipad mini 4
I have a ipad 2 that I use with my Mavic Pro and the new version of DJI no longer works. My screen will freeze up in flight and renders
me unable to fly FPV. I now use Litchi which is less of a resource hog
and works as well as DJI
I was having screen freezes with the dji go 4 so switched to using Litchi and all my issues were resolved. So when using the iPad mini 2 I certainly recommend Litchi.
I use a ipad mini 2 with my mavic pro and occasionally the screen will freeze. I suspect that the processor is borderline for speed. If I don't turn off wifi and other features that run in the background the screen will freeze up more often
I receive the message to calibrate every time I power up. I have tried many recalibrates and this message always appears. I have given up trying to fix so I just make sure my home point is established. I might recalibrate monthly

My concern is if the bird came too close and one of the props would come into contact, then the drone motors would shutoff and the drone would fall out of the sky
