Gathered a bunch of material, but found im not using the drone much... so sits uncollected.

I tried to get one, ordering through Rakuten but no luck, the Japanese guard them like it was a vaccine for covid. Would be nice to fly with some accessories and stay under 250g...good luck with your search.

Glad to help, its important to be setup well, so no distractions when flying. I'm happy that dji has improved iPad support to the fly app, and hope they continue to improve it. But originally they were focusing on smartphone support, and hence their choice to include short cables...at least...

If you are on Facebook I’d recommend checking out his drone Canada pages... lots of discussion about flying in Canada. I used his guides to prepare for my test, and I find the Drone Canada app very useful for knowing where to fly, and for logging flights. Also like the checklists in the app...

I do have auto updates ... but in this case went to the App Store, searched for dji fly and it showed an update button.
