    3 Sunset in Lavantal (Carinthia/Austria)

Hello! I was on a business trip in Graz and on the way back, I stopped for this beautiful view. Shot with the Mavic 3 Pro and the Wide Angle Panorama mode. Lavantal Greetings, Jürgen

Air 3 First attempt at long exposure photos. Japan coast.

Very neat! I really like the second one but also the others are great. From the EXIF you were shooting around 0.6s? How have the wind conditions been?

    First crash

Ha, there shouldn't have been an object in my flight path. The flight path was just way longer than anticipated. :D

3 Summer vacation - Calabria (South Italy)

Thank you very much. To be honest, I was more or less in the most visited cities and it's almost only Italians. As soon as you are somewhere else (like Trebisacce or Sibari, there aren't any tourists. Even over the 15th of August.

3 Summer vacation - Calabria (South Italy)

Hello everyone! This year I spent three weeks in Calabria. It was one of the best if not the best summer vacation I ever had. I already was there last year, so I knew the club I was staying at and a bit of the region. I went there by car, so beside swimming in the turquoise-blue sea I did a few...

    First crash

Hello everyone! I haven't written for quite a long time, but was reading regularly. However, after almost five years of flying several DJI drones (Mavic 2 Zoom, Mini 2, DJI FPV, Mavic 3 Pro), I had my first crash yesterday and it was a stupid one. I was flying at home with the Mavic 3 to get a...

    DJI announcement on May 15

I went through the technical data. Sensor size, Resolution/FPS, etc. Of course there are some differences, most obvious the front screen. But nothing ground breaking in the specs. After watching a few videos: BUT what I "feared" has happened: the image quality is better than the GPH7. Like the...

    DJI announcement on May 15

Basically the same features as the GoPro Hero 7 Black.

    DJI announcement on May 15

If they build an action cam with the image quality of the Osmo Pocket and with 4k60 and 1080p/240fps and a superb electronic stabilization it would be great. I really like the GPH7 but the image quality of the DJI cameras is just a bit higher. Maybe it’s also the codec. But I can extract perfect...

April Showers Bring May Flowers photo contest. Anyone up for it?

Of course I'm in and I'd be happy to help as last time. :)

How do you protect your drone from damage?

Little. I don't use prop guards, I sometime turn off the sensors. BUT: I always fly cautious, I check the hardware and my environment every time before I start. And I try avoid silly risks. So far so good.

    DJI announcement on May 15

    Maybe it's a 360° camera. I have to admit, I'm a bit excited. :)

Why did you buy your Mavic 2 Pro?

Maybe some harsh words: if he doesn't want to edit the photos, he limits himself. Correct exposure and a good composition is always important. But digital images are a bit different than film images and even film images were and are edited by professional or enthusiastic photographers. The...

Pop-on or screw-on filters. Which do you like?

I like to screw the filters on. Pop on is convenient but screwing gives me more safety. I know the screwing from the M2Z and the pop on from the Osmo Pocket.

External battery or batteries effect on flight handling

As far as I know, you can't add additional power supplies to the Mavic without modifying the drone. Regarding the additional weight: there's no problem. The Mavic does fine with some stuff loaded: Will it fly? EDIT: I see, the clip solves the problem how to add additional batteries. I'd say up...
