Assuming all applicable laws allow for it, I still wouldn't do it. Too much risk of losing the drone, if the drone goes down. I live near a similar geographical feature. Its only about 300 yards to cross (by the way of a bird flying) at one point but won't attempt it.

This looks more like mine: DJI Mavic Pro Gimbal & Camera I'm fairly handy at DIY stuff. But that doesn't mean I have to. Just curious what do you charge to install?

Sadly, I crashed my Mavic 2 Pro and broke the gimbal. I found a vendor online but says the gimbal is on back order. But I also don't know if they are trust worthy. Anyone have a recommended vendor for buying a gimbal, back order or not? Thnx Matt

I found part of the answer. The photos are still on the Mavic itself. I ran a usb cable from my PC to the mavic and mounted it as a USB drive. There were all of my videos and photos including the ones from the last flights. I do not have any answer as to why they were never DL to my phone...

I made a couple of flights today. Took a few photos. But the photos are not saved on my phone. My flight log shows I took the photos as I can see them in the flight log. 1) where are my photos (they usually appear in the gallery app) and 2) can I get the photos? Thnx Matt

I am a bit confused. This is from dji themselves....they show no restrictions...Is dji software just that out of date and unreliable?

I will admit I have not looked up anything regarding my question. I'm on vacay...thats my excuse. I am visiting downtown San Francisco and haven't seen a single drone flying around. Not at any park, not any pier. So I thought I would a take a break from walking around and ask. What's the air...

Its for this reason I use a phone that does not have cellular access.

Note to mention only 3 reviews with the average only 3 1/2 stars. With a devices as expensive as the Mavic, why risk it.

Love the skin on your drone. Looks awesome. I've kept mine VLOS entirely and never flew it away any further than about 1500' and never above 120' in height. I'm paranoid of losing it, crashing it etc. At this point, that is sufficient. As my skill as an operating increases I may change...

I love this idea. Seems like you will need a longer cable to connect to the ipad.

I am curious if anyone has used an iPad with the flight controller for the Mavic Pro 2. Such as this one (this is not an endorsement :) ). I wanted to know if that extra size and weight of the iPad made it harder to hold the controller. I feel the larger display screen would be nice, but...
