Anyone do Dronebase.com? I've done 50 pano missions now, with a payout of about 40% - not bad for something I enjoy doing in my spare time.
I've had good luck shooting the panoramas manually, but probably getting >50 shots per pano. I'd rather have a more reliable process that uses fewer...
Today I tried to use Hangar 360 for the first time and couldn't seem to get it to work. I turned on the DJI Go 4 App, flew it to 300 feet, then switched over to the Hangar App to take the pictures, it took all necessary pictures and then asked me if I wanted to land or continue flying. I clicked...
Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone out there has had much success with 360 degree pano (sphere shaped) software using the Mavic? I'm reading that DronePan, Litchi and Hangar 360 are all capable - but is one better than the other? Looks like a pretty cool technique that I want to have a crack at...
Hi guys
Took my Mavic up yesterday for a series of videos and panos.
When I loaded them onto my computer, the videos were fine but 33 out of 34 of my panos were way out of focus and unusable.
As this was a pano created by Litchi App, maybe I need to ask on their forums but thought I'd ask...
One of the features I was excited about when I upgraded from my P3P was the portrait orientation shooting allowing for panorama's to be made. here is my first one done with my mavic

Just made some pano's with my MP from a videos/photo's I took. Used manual settings and stiched with Image Composite Editor (ICE) which is free from Microsoft. Good to know I can make panorama shots from a video. Saves the time take several pictures without the need to check overlap.
Still not the best season for luscious greens but I rather enjoyed driving around a number of area lakes, scouting for the best views of Mt Fuji. This was stitched from 7 still photos.
A quickie panorama taken about 125 meters up. The tower's tip is 138 meters above the ground, pronounced "ichi mi ya" which sounds like the city name Ichinomiya. Hence the name of the tower.
I use the Hugin software to stitch my panoramas.
A rough shot (rather 13 shots). The sky shows signs of that heavy vignetting that you get; I haven't yet corrected for it in the post-processing of the DNG files.
This is Toyota City on the left, and Toyota Stadium on the other side of the river. Altitude about 90 meters.
HDR Panorama using the Mavic Pro. HDR and Panorama processing done in LR. Happy with how well the images stitch together.
