400' limit? go above it.

dont like being limited to 400'? go higher. this is a 4,000 peak by my house. you are actually looking down at the planes flying by. the point is if local air traffic is commonly at 800 to 2500' if you go to 4,000' then go up from there you greatly reduce the likely hood of interfering with local air traffic. and the pull away video is cool to! this wont work every where but opens some doors.

You need to be cautious doing this. Flying within 400' of your mountaintop is OK but be careful in venturing out over the valley. It is not uncommon for small planes to fly through the gaps between mountains rather than over them.
