I can not get the Active Track Parallel to work. After selecting myself and the + appears, the mode selection displays with Spotlight selected. I click on Active Track then click on Parallel. In a few seconds it reverts back to Spotlight (Spotlight works). Am I missing something or an additional selection? I am using the Smart Controller and the latest version of DJI FLY. I wiuld appreciate any help. Thank you.

Do you have sideways flight disabled?
I also don't think the aircraft isn't locked on to the subject yet, a green "go" will show up on the screen.
Start with the aircraft closer to lock in. Once locked in you can change your distance.
I use 4K 30fps, it won't work in 5K.

I think that's it. Sideways flight was disabled! Never saw the green "go". It reverts back to spotlight and I believe it was locked because spotlight worked. Can't wait to try it now.
