Alternative lighter controller?

Hi, I’ve just unpacked my Mini 3. The drone is super light but the RC controller is ridicously heavy!

I will use it in distance hikes, and weight counts, is there an alternative controller?

I read Smart Controller is not compatible…

Did you get the N1 or the built-in screen one?
Smart controller is super heavy.

In any case... There are just 2 options for the mini3.

There are a lot of posts on controller compatibility and a lot of confusing “names” being used for DJI’s newest controller. I thought I’d throw this out there related to the Mini 3 and other recent consumer version drones to get everyone on the same page. All of this is likely to change...

@mountainscaper ,i have the dji rc ,the one with the screen built in for my Mini 3 pro
ridiculously heavy is not a term that i would be able to use to describe it

Ordered M3P as well. Only thing I would like to add is a secondary mini controller. Something like Skydio Beakon but with a tiny screen for pointing drone to right direction would be perfect for hiking and MTB.
