I once flew at an AMA field, and it was great as there was no one else there - winter. i did not stay within the confines of the field; however.
I contacted a separate AMA field 'owner' and he was adamant, "No Drones!"
It would have been awesome to have access to the field because his field was perched high up into the Ozark mountains with spectacular vistas all around. A real 360 panorama.
When fall came and the leaves changed the colors would have been worth it. Of course, I don't need his field as the whole area is class G airspace, but having the facility access would have made the effort a lot less burdensome. Oh, well.
So, we'll have to wait and see how the two schools play together.
I have no intention of using the AMA fields; regularly. The clubs are too few, far between, and here today/gone tomorrow.
I'll travel further out to class G airspace, and enjoy the peace.
