Most probably he just filmed with the gimbal straight down and captured the reflection of the sky in the dark water ... ?

I'm thinking he superimposed the sky in post.

Slup hit the nail on the head. Since the clouds appear to be stationary it gives the impression theat the land is moving. Halfway through I turned the drone around 180 degrees and flew back. You can see the clouds change where I snipped out the turn-around.

Interesting. I get the point but don't see it the way you see it. It's nice effective illusion. What led me to believe that it was superimposed was that the shadows beneath the trees look masked. I guess not .

I agree....reflection of the sky from smooth water.

Nice but to those of us who fly a lot, that is the normal view when we look down coming on and over water, no illusion.
