Another maps problem thread

...I had no map details on my screen when I flew. Just a blue dot and arrow while flying...

This happened to me once and I immediately started cursing Go 4. Then I noticed that somehow the GPS receiver on my tablet was turned off. Turned it on and the map worked again. I apologized to Go 4 for all the bad names I called it.

Apparently you have to leave the go4 app open, after caching the offline map, until you fly.

You shouldn't have to keep the app running. After caching the maps, they should still be there after restarting DJI GO and/or you mobile device.

Agreed, but offline maps just dont work on my device without data, and often Home Point does not set.

My home point is setting each time I fly but I still have no map details on my setup. I gave up. Go4 app is crap imo. I preferred the old app with my Phantom 3's.
