Hi

In PF mode, the horizon level drifts when it shouldn’t. So, if I’m doing any kind of longish shot with turns to left or right etc, the level will be off by the end. Not by much, but it’s noticeable. I have tried everything I can think of including calibration beforehand.

This makes the gimbal much more difficult and time consuming to use.

Any ideas please?

Thanks,

J

I have a buddy that uses all types of Ronins- When I asked him he said:
1. What camera and Did you properly balance the camera when you installed it?
He would also like to see an example to better understand.

Thanks, yes properly balanced - a Sony FX30.

Cool I will see if he has ideas for you
I have been told that the Drift and also sometimes a wobble are known issues with the RS3 sometimes bringing the stiffness settings down a pinch will help.
There are quite a few people either sending them in to DJI or Back to B&H for refund, over the problem.
A quick look at the DJI Forum may help you a bit also.

Thanks Cafguy yes there’s a whole thread on it. This is even before I start on the orbiting problem. I’ve put up with it for six months and I think now is the time for it to go back to DJI!
