Any thoughts on Taco vs PolarPro ND filters for Mavic Air?

As of right now PolarPro and Taco are only companies that offer ND filters for Mavic Air. I heard a lot of good things (and some bad) about PolarPro, but what prevents me from pulling the trigger is that they don't offer package that would include ND16 as well as ND32, nor do they sell these filters individually as of right now. In order to get both I would need to purchase two sets at total cost of $180 and that would include bunch of filters that I will probably never even use.

Taco on the other hand offers package that includes 16 as well as 32 ND filters at the fraction of the price ($69) ... Unfortunately didn't find any reviews for their Mavic Air filters. Only thing I found was someone on Mavic Pro forum saying that they have both PolarPro and Taco and they find them selfs using Taco more often.

So with that said, does anyone have experience with Taco filters? Are they any good?

For the record I do wedding videography so image quality matters to me a lot.

Your absolutely right ND16 just isn't enough for 4k 24 fps at 50 shutter on a sunny day. You need N32. I bought the polar cinema shutter collection and had to order the ND32 separately.

That is what I figured too. Thankfully I can still hold of for a month or two because I won't need MA for paid gigs. Hopefully by that time, I will be able to figure out what is the best solution.

You can ask polar pro for an ND 32 as part of your order and they will do it. It’s what I did. I got their standard cinema series and added a 32 on.

Great!

Do you mind sharing what you paid for entire package?

You can find some other brands of Mavic Air filters here.

I don't have the Taco-RC filters, but I have lots of Taco-RC (and PolarPro) filters for other DJI drones. They make great filters, so it would be a great choice too if you decide to go with them.

I checked the PolarPro site today and was happy to find out that they now offer custom filter packages!

That’s cool. What custom set did you end up getting? I can’t decide. I was thinking of 8, 16, and 32. Or maybe 8, 32 and 64. Do polarized ones change the color? Hiw do you know whether to get polarized ones or not?
