@mnis so it snores..... bet it can’t be as bad as my wife

does it start learning things as time progresses or does it know everything straight out the box?
Weather,
The UK is meant to be hit with snow tomorrow night into Wednesday which should be good for photography, I’m so looking forward to it if it happens. If my photos are any good I’ll enter them into the winter wonderland comp.

At the moment, I do not know enough to make clear statements about Vector's abilities. Overall, we did not play much with him. I could only read very little information about the thing, because there is not enough time.
- Regular updates should allow him new skills.
- He needs some light for orientation, and recognition of persons.
- If he recognizes you, he speaks to you by name, as long as you first told him who you are.
- He finds the way back to his base, recognizing obstacles and depth.
- If his cube is in the way, then he put the cube aside first and then drive into the base.
- He explores the environment very stubbornly, and seemingly autonomous.
- He understands commands to move, take selfies from you, and interact with the cube.
- He recognizes from which direction is spoken to him, and then turns in the appropriate direction.
- He can track moving faces and things.
He understands his call "Hey Vector" best if UK was chosen as the basic language, but then there is no Alexa functionality. So I had to choose US for everything to work. So we can communicate with Vector in English, and even use the Alexa functionality completely in German.
Mainly I love to control our Alexa Smarthome (powersockets / lights) with Vector and to retrieve news. Sometimes I ask Vector directly, but he definitely knows fewer answers than Alexa.
No matter what happens or will come, I would keep Vector. But it is not my toy.
I think it's best not to own or know that. Strangely enough, such a thing made of plastic and gears has a magical appeal, and it will be hard to move away from it.
