It seems as though a lot of the 'also-rans' have ended up whoring themselves out to potential military/civil enforcement contracts... not surprising seeing as that's where the big bucks lie.Unfortunately so:

I remember considering a GoPro Karma or the original Mavic...boy would that have been a mistake if I'd gone with the GoPro.
But I'm genuinely impressed with Frank Wangs attitude: no DJI drone will be produced deliberately weaponized.
Isn't it strange that the one company openly dedicated to this standard is the one that has been demonized when literally all their previous competitors have embraced weaponization and covert civil surveillance.
I think the word 'hypocrisy' is the most applicable here.
