After not being used for just over two months, my DJI Mini 2 is reporting a barometer initialisation error (30042). I have restarted the Mini2 several times but still get the same error. I have attempted a factory reset using the DJI Fly app, but the Mini 2 and the RC-N1 are still bound, so it doesn't look like it is a "factory" reset. Or is that normal.

Any other thoughts on the barometric sensor? I don't have an SMD rework station to change it, so I'll be looking for a UK fix, if all else fails.

TIA

Pete

Thanks for the suggestion but I have some further info. If I launch DJI Assistant 2, I can see the NEO when I connect it to the PC but the Mini 2 does not pop up. Is there a way of doing a firmware update/downgrade without using the Assistant?

Sorry The first thing you need to do is uninstall and reinstall the go or fly app you use on your device. after the reinstall the error should clear.
NOT RECOMMENDED unless you are in the Know but yes you can flash firmware in other ways BUT again ONLY if you already understand what is going to happen!!!!

Not sure if I can do this on the forum hopefully its OK link below

Thank you for your post. I reinstalled the DJI Fly app, registered a new account and did another reset using the Fly app. I had followed a number of videos which said I should tap the "Clear All Data" button but this time I thought I'd try the "Reset All Settings". I can now connect to the Mini 2 via the Assistant and I have restarted and flown it three times with no errors. Hopefully all systems are go again and I was obviously not resetting the correct item.
