Physically, yes, but not recommended by DJI because the voltage differences can lead to unpredictable low power errors that can lead to landing in place or even shutting off in mid air. Mini 5 Pro batteries only.

Direct quote From DJI:

"Note: Batteries from the Dil Mini 4 Pro and DJI Mini 3 series may physically work in the DJI Mini 5 Pro and allow takeoff."

"However, their maximum output is lower than the Mini 5 Pro's battery and, in harsh conditions, the aircraft may display a "Power Insufficient" warning."

"This pairing has not been compatibility-tested and is not recommended."

Plus Battery Compatibility with Mini 5 Pro

I tried putting the Plus battery I have been using in my Mini 3 Pro and Mini 4 Pro in my new Mini 5 Pro. I found that if I put the 5 Pro in Normal mode and accelerate, I get a "Battery Overcurrent" warning. That goes away when I slow the drone down. The battery is a refurbished OEM DJI-branded one I bought on eBay, and it works flawlessly in the Mini 4 Pro. If I fly the Mini 5 Pro with the standard battery I have been using in both older drones, I get no warnings. The eBay seller insists that the Plus battery is not compatible with the Mini 5 Pro. Has anyone had any such issues...

DJI really should disable this in firmware. At the very least refuse to take off, with an incompatibility message displayed. At best, refuse to even power up.

Since we already know the battery type and model is available to Fly, there's no good reason not to do this. Wondering why DJI hasn't.
