Battery faintly flashing when charging - what does it mean?

Can anybody please tell me what the flashing on this battery means? Is the battery dead/dying, or something else?

No clue, but guessing that is an error code coming out of the BMS. Have a look in the manual, there is a table for the flash codes.

Thanks, the battery is damaged, as the manual says "The four LEDs blink simultaneously to indicate the battery is damaged."
