Battery mod thread

Is it not possible atall even to add a battery without tampering with the updated cells just solder two wires and add battery that way? like i think ive seen on here?

Also had anyone tried rolling back to 0.200 firmwere and see if batterys can be done that way maybe removes battery update aswell?

Yes of course you can. But the best battery gain as of right now is 2 21700 cells with a bms. You can add a battery pack with stock battery, it will get you about 35 min of flight time.

¿También alguien intentó retroceder a 0.200 firmas y ver si las baterías se pueden hacer de esa manera, tal vez también elimine la actualización de la batería?
[/CITAR]I’ve tried downgrade Drone’s firmware to 200, but batterys don’t downgrade.

With Adding 2 x stock Samsung cells at cell level in parallel can we get 35 min ? I’ve tried with 2 x Sony 3000 20A in parallel solder at stock battery’s bornes and only gotten 26 min.

You have to watch your actual voltage of cells. The mini will sometimes try a forced landing when you still have around 3.5volts per cell... You can stay in the air until it force lands you completely at 3.17volts.

By switching to non dji mode this gets eliminated and you can stay in the air until 2.5volts. However with the added weight the mini has a hard time even hovering after 3volts per cell.
