Battery mod XT60 connectors: How to make your own?

Does anyone know what people are using to make the pin connectors to the XT60 connectors?

Seems like some places are charging $60 for a set of pins that can be made extremely cheaply.

I just bought 5 pair of xt60 clips for 2.99 on amazon!

Hi there,

you need to read the Battery Mod thread and it is documented there, or search on YouTube as @cruzroy among others have covered it......its very possible but difficult to get the close tolerance of the slots for the pins to enter......

It's definitely possible, but difficult. I handmade one without power tools and just tested it a few hours ago, which is why I'm now on this forum Wierd thing happened when I powered it up with a Li-Po; gotta figure it out before I continue. But yeah, it's possible to make yourself. My next step is to use my 3d printer to make them from aluminum or copper.
