Couple of buddies asked me to film them today surfing some good waves in Florida today. New computer comes in tomorrow so I'll edit some videos, in the mean time here are some stills.

Did they catch any waves or just paddle? Haha. Isn't is amazing how you have to be closer to them than you think to get good video / photos?

Yea they caught a bunch of waves, focused on video for the rides. First time flying over water for a long period of time so didn't want to go too low, lowest I went was about 35ft, also was worried about the spray from the waves. Also you read so many different opinions on turning downward avoidance when flying over water I'm not sure what to do haha .

I use the sonar but be sure you know how to get out of autolanding mode (you switch to Sport mode).

Pretty sure I left it in sport mode the entire time I was over the water.

Well then you'd need to switch to normal mode if it starts to Autoland when over water
