I get yesterday a new Mavic Air 2, but I have a black screen..
Taking Picture is OK, flying is OK, but cannot see anything when I pilot.
My handy is an iPhone 11..

Has someone an idea of What I can/should do ?

Just curious if you performed all your FW and app updates? Also try your charging cable from your iPhone that is a USB C connection instead of the DJI cable just to test.
What SD card are you using?
Welcome to the forum by the way! :)

OK Aokusman, well done !
I've tried with an old iPhone 5S and this time it worked.
Back to the iPhone 11 and still black screen.
My Iphone 11 is less than 1 year old and never had issue..
My SD is : SanDisk Extreme microSD 64

Good to see you got it sorted out! Happy flights! Thumbswayup

Yes but I don't want to use my small iPhone 5 ..
The iPhone 11 has a much bigger screen, and would be much better to use ..
I suppose it shoud be compatible with the Mavic ?

Yes it is compatible. I use both IPhone 11 Pro Max and iPad mini 4, so no issues there.

I have had this problem with a Mavic 2 Pro and a Smart Controller. Im my case it turned out to be the SD Card you might want to take it out and reformat it again before putting it back . see if that helps

If you’re adventurous, try GENTLY cleaning the port on your IPhone 11 with a wooden toothpick. They get lint in them from your pockets. Possibly a shot of compressed air.

Yiks try using a flat cotton bud dipped in Acetone or alcohol (not whisky!) to clean the contacts also used a compressed air can to do the same

I can't get my 5SE to hook up. Works fine with my other Iphone..I must be doing something wrong. I'm going to try Genec's timely suggestion

I have figured this out and will soon to have dji tech update the code. It is a high definition problem. If it goes black and you can't see but can still take photos & record then simply go to the top bar and select transmission, switch from HD to smooth.
Could be two possible reasons for this but what I'm mainly thinking is the camera is so good on hd that some of the devices don't know how to downplay it so it just goes black. Now they we have an understanding I'm sure firmware will be up soon. I apologise for the aggravations but it good to see a company moving faster than the tech they offer! Very pleased. Now get to coding ??
