
I Am going To Svalbard next month. For those who may not know, it is only 650 miles/1000 Kms from the North pole.
As you can imagine, it is going to be quite cold, and I suspect that I will only be able to do short flights. (-21C/-6F currently)
Not only the concern are keeping the batteries warm, but the biggest problem for me at the moment is for the iPad, which is the tablet I use for flying.
I have this cover in the picture for my DSLR. You can put your hands on either side, keeping them warm, while you look at a transparent cover in the back. I used it in Finland in December 2 years ago, and it was amazing how it did help keeping the camera functioning longer.
Do you think I would be able to put the controller/Mavmount/Ipad in there to fly the Mavic without the antennas sticking out?
