That is part of planning a flight in the app so yes you choose the aircraft being used, but it should not matter unless needed in a 107 LAANC request.The Aloft app allows you to add multiple drones to your profile.
I only have one, so I don't know if it lets you select when you request LAANC.
Thanks for the approval info for 107 flights, it is the same with me for recreational flights in controlled airspace. LAANC only requests Pilot name and phone number, grid coordinates and altitude.Thanks. I use the Android ALOFT app for part 107 LAANC requests all the time. Since I only have one drone it doesn't prompt me to select, and the approval email does not reference anything unique to the drone (it has only my name, phone number and the clearance details).
