Cascades BC Skiing

Frame grabs from video I shot of myself skiing a steep gully in the Cascades yesterday.


I'm the little figure to right of shadow line in center of the gully.






Watch out for cliffs below roll overs!

Wow thats steep! Great to be able to launch and fly out a good distance to reveal the genuine perspective.

Looks like amazing fun!

Did you use active track to capture video of you skiing? Nice photos.

Would also like to know. Would have to be Active Track 2.0 though for the descending to happen.

The first two shots no active track - just flew out to where it captured half of the gully then started filming, skied to about the middle, stopped to adjust gimbal down to lower half, skied that, stopped and hand caught the drone and put it away until I was climbed up onto another ridge. The last two are Active Track 2, which did a pretty darn good job of following from above on the easy open slopes. I also tried it from the side a few days before with mixed results as I skied around contours on the ridge.
