Changing home location while flying

While using the GO4 app when flying the Pro or Phantom, you can change the home location by sliding your finger across the screen, see the attached YT video. This feature does not appear to be available with the Air controller. Does anyone know a way to do this with the Air?

Watched a YouTube review saying you cannot do this on the Air, at least for now.

As long as the device you’re using has GPS (e.g. iPhone). If you’re using an iPad without sim & hence no GPS, you can’t do this

Do you know if you can make that change during flight? I think those are preflight settings but I've never tried them while already in the air.

Thanks, that's the problem. We're trying to change the homepoint while in the air. iPad mini 4.

Yes, the home point can be updated mid-flight.

If you're using a Wi-Fi only iPad Mini 4, then you'll need to connect some type of external GPS receiver to it in order to reset the home point to your current location. A GPS receiver like the Garmin GLO or one of these would work.
