I remember reading in a post somewhere that to solve the camera gimbal error status/compatibility issue when changing to a new gimbal the replacement gimbal must have the same ID prefix stamped on the gimbal circuit board.
Can anyone point me to the post or can confirm this is true?
I have been searching for the last 2 hours without any luck, including using the search function here and other big search engines.
I will be changing the mainboard in my Mavic Air soon and want to make sure I can sort out the gimbal compatibility issue. I have a few dead Mavic Airs to swap gimbals with. I will send to DJI support as last resort!
