That's probably covering software licensing. And like everything else, is probably negotiable when you have more than one drone. More and more enterprise-level software has gone the subscription route. It allows the customer to budget the software as an annual expense, as opposed to a big hit every few years. For the vendor, it provides a stable revenue stream, which investors love.Currently only the MA2 has ADS-B IN, and then, only in US.
$1500/yr? That doesn't sound right.
For that kind of money, are they sending a new drone every year?
