Hi everyone, I'm trying to use the navigation data for my Mavic, which I've downloaded from the app via AirData.com. I'm noticing a big difference between the reported Gimbal Heading and Compass heading. Has anyone got any idea why that might be? Its almost a 30 degree disagreement.

Is the gimbal heading based on true North or Magnetic North? I've never used that App before.

You could use one of the web based true north calculators and see what the difference is. If it is about 30 degrees difference where you flew your drone likely that is the answer. If its not close it is probably some other reason.

0.4 degrees here!

I have to correct for true and magnetic north all the time when i’m Mapping. It’s about 24 degrees difference where I am in NZ.
