I have to confess that my Mavic Pro hasn't been out of its case since last fall. Today, I decided to recharge the batteries and update the software in preparation for some spring flying.

I checked the flight batteries and they were still at 3 bars as expected with the automatic discharged after 10 days. What was surprising was that the controller was at 1% when I first started charging it. I know it was turned off when I put it away, so it must have discharged this much during 5 months. I hope this hasn't shortened the battery life of the controller. Has anyone else experienced this amount of discharge with their controller?

This is normal with the controller. It drains when it's not used, you have to charge it every few weeks.

DJI recommends keeping the remote between 40% and 60% when you're storing it.
