DatCon can accept Mavic .DAT files

VelH is the .csv column that shows horizontal speed. The documentation is a bit arcane. I'll change that.

I was able to retrieve the .txt file from my iPad DJI Go App 4.0. Didn't have any problem converting it to a .csv. The .dat on the tablet isn't the same as the .DAT on the AC and can not be processed using CsvView/DatCon.

Ok so I see what my issue was. The mph displayed on screen of the dji GO4 App displays mph as fps (feet per second). So my 64.5mph was actually, 40mph. The GO4 App has had several updates with plenty of opportunity to correct a misleading issue. I bet if the display stated the a/c was traveling slower then it actually was, they would've corrected it a long time ago. No they would rather allow everyone that doesn't know better to post in social media about how fast they're able to fly.

It's no wonder why the Flight Autonomy does not function properly at times.

Excellent software. I am learning a lot using it.

Thanks BudWalker for making it.

i only can acess 3 last fligth on dat log is normal?
Sorry, I don't quite understand your question. Are you referring the number of .DAT files on the Mavic? Or, are you referring to number of flights inside a .DAT that is generated by DJI Assistant 2? In both cases I'd have to say there is no "normal".

Just a suggestion. I use Google Translate when I'm posting with my German colleagues. If it weren't for that they wouldn't understand what I'm talking about. Just a suggestion.

So, you have retrieved FLY063.DAT from you Mavic and it resides on your PC? What happens when you submit FLY063.DAT to DatCon? What version of DatCon are you running?

Is a FLY063.csv is produced when the Go! button is pressed? The reason that Flight Start isn't shown is that there isn't a flight in the .DAT. Also, there is no motorStart.

Please provide a Dropbox link to one of those .DATs that don't have a flight. I'll take a look. Since there are so many files like this there may be a bug in DatCon.

Do you know that a .DAT is produced every time the battery is turned on? Even if there is no flight?

Dropbox - flylogs

Say if works
Done all upload
As I mentioned, a .DAT is created every time the battery is turned on; even if there is no flight. FLY063.DAT is an example of this. batteryOn occurred at 2017-2-5 20:3:10. local. There was no motorStart and no acquisition of satellites. I suspect you had it on your desk checking or adjusting settings. Accelerometer data shows it was set down on something, remained in place for about 11 minutes, then picked up when the battery was switched off. At about time 87 secs the AC was moved laterally on the desk.

There is a new version of CsvView/DatCon. This new version has some new features as well as bug fixes. If you get a chance try out the MagData Player. The new versions can be obtained here CsvView and here DatCon. Both versions are a beta that will turn into a non-beta versions in a few days if there are no problems.

Hi guys,
