On my P3 the antenna was easily removable without tools, and after market antennas screwed right on, something like that would work and keep me from having to have another controller.

Yeah mate, the battery is wired in reverse polarity - positive has to go to the front arm [emoji6]

Great work but how do you overcome the distance set by regulations? Here in EU it is 5 km and I believe that the software breaks will kick in before going any further.

The distance limit is disabled in the dji go 4 app. The distance limit is also configurable if you choose to leave it on. The EU limits the power transmission power, rather than hard limit in software.
