Deviated: My Mavic is sleeping 100ft up in a tree tonight

On holiday, tomorrow is my birthday, and my drone is stuck up a HUGE eucalyptus tree.

Tomorrow I’m spending my birthday retrieving my bird.

ANY advice welcome.

I used a Trex550 helix once to get someone’s Drone out of a tree, lots of power to lift a drone

ANY advice welcome.

Hire a professional tree trimming guy to climb up the tree and retrieve your Mavic. These guys climb tall trees every day and know how to do it safely and efficiently.

Get to you shorts, cut the rope and bound it around the root of the tree and youselv and climb it like a pro. Make sure some fishermans with net will catch you and your bird on the way back. Just joking... A professional climber would probably do the job.

So here is the good news: my bird is safe and sound. Alls well, got loggers to help. Just when all was set for the rescue the Mavic miraculously fell right at our feet. Don’t ever say prayers don’t work. Had very little shut eye last night. Here is a clip of the episode.

Local rock climbers have done so many retrevals, they have rates posted!
Averaging $100.00/drone

There’s a YouTube video of some guys retrieving a Mavic from a tree with another Mavic. Of course there’s the chance of getting both of them stuck but then you could split the cost of getting them back lol.
