DIY iPad Pro 10.5 Hood

Since I haven’t found a good monitor hood to fit my iPad Pro 10.5, I decided to make one myself. It cost me $9 to make and took about an hour and a half to design, cut, and finish this project.

Materials:

2’x3’ Corrugated Plastic Sheet
Velcro

I’m going to paint the inside matte black to absorb the glare but I think this is goin to do the job.

Velcro is applied to the iPad cover.

For those of you that use a mini it the arms of the remote I have a solution for a sunscreen, and the angle keeps all reflections off the screen, it’s secure when flying, and folds flat when not using, about 11.00 bucks to make , black poster board two layers, black felt for inside and black vinyl for outside

Thanks, got the vinyl at Joann’s , it cones in a 12” x 48” roll , it’s used with the cricket machine, but I just used the vinyl and heated the edges and wrapped it around into the inside of hood and then used the felt to tidy it all up on the inside ... I’ve tried several hoods and not one has eleminated the glare on screen, this does...

Just your standard black poster board , two layers glued together and then cut to these measurements ..for an pad mini,

for larger size tablets / I pads measure accordingly and for you guys using mounts in the arms mounts , can add a strip of Velcro around bottom of each end iPad, as shown in picture with red drawing on it ...

So I took your plans and altered them a little bit to fit my MavMount. Here it is!

I cut everything that folds and reattached them using Gorilla repair tape so that it bends at the seams better.

Felt on the inside is next...
