If you want to record your flight you can use AZ Screen recorder or DU Recorder....it will record everything you see on your screen. I've used it many times and laugh at the warnings that I missed. It's all good. You don't need noisy props in your video's. Here's a short vid I shot with my 360 camera. Turn up the volume.... hahaha....

As far as I know, that is not cached data, rather it is the log information. So I'd say it should not be an issue.

The device can store the video feed that you see on the display screen. This is 720p video. The cache size is the maximum storage space on the device that is allowed to store this video. The online manual also explains this in more detail.
