DJI announced today that nine of their drone models now comply with Transport Canada's regulations for advanced drone operations in controlled airspace. Now, DJI customers will be able to operate their drones after June 1st, when Transport Canada takes into effect their new regulatory framework for civilian drone operations. The announced DJI compliant drones include: The Matrice 600 Series, Matrice 200 Series, Matrice 200 V2 Series, Inspire 2, Mavic 2 Series, Mavic Air, Mavic Pro, Spark, and Phantom 4 Series.

Any information out there on what’s going to happen with those that have registered earlier and their printed registration says the drone is not compliant?

I can see it being an issue if asked to produce the registration and it is printed right on it that the drone is not compliant even though it might now be.
