DJI Fly Map shows wrong country

Hello gang. I live 3 miles from the Canadian border in Michigan. Every time I start the fly app and check the map it shows the correct physical location of the controller however up top it says Ontario. I believe it’s keeping my Mavic Air 2 in CE mode vs FCC. I plan on driving further away just to check out my theory. The transmission page does Not show the “ Dual 2.4 or 5.8 tab.
Any advise? Thank you.

It’s my understanding that Canada is not FCC. There is no option in the transmission tab to switch from 2.4 to 5.8. There would be in FCC mode.

Does your Mavic Air 2 have the ADS-B decal on the front leg?

If it doesn’t, maybe you have a non-US version.

Canada is FCC as that’s where I live .
My air2 shows both 2.4 & 5.8 so something else is going on .

Ok, just for the hell if it I used my ipad air instead of my Note 8 to check for different transmission options. Bam everything is there! Switched back to the note 8 and still everything that should be is there. Only difference is drone was on opposite side of house when I started it. I walked it back to the rear of house where I usually launch from and still had the 2.4 5.8 options. Battery extremely low, so after charge I will restart at rear of home to see if it goes back to the limited transmission choices. If it does than its definitely a location issue.....25 ft difference

Canada invaded and annexed northern Michigan, and Ontario was the beneficiary!
