Had this issue pop up for the first time.
Flying with the goggles on, I took an evening flight yesterday. Crystal clear weather with the bright sun setting. Quite beautiful
The super bright setting sun set off the obstacle avoidance sensors when the Mavic Pro was pointed at the sun. Ok, no problem... This has been documented fairly extensively.
I used the app to turn off the obstacle sensors, which let me continue flying.
The issue I had after doing this was that even though the obstacle sensors were turned off, the goggles continued to beep when ever the obstacle sensors were 'tripped'. A bit annoying.
No "radar" on screen, nothing. Just the beep-beep-beep as though I were approaching a wall. I was able to fly normally. Nothing unusual except for the beeping.
Maybe this would have disabled it self had I landed, turned off the sensors and took off again? But I am not sure.
Anyone else experience this? Had I launched with the sensors disabled would this not have happened?
