yikes!...the Mav 4 fly more combo with just the RC2 is $3549 at Adorama. If you want the RC Pro 2 it's $4649. Pretty spendyUS residents, if you manage to buy a drone from here, you can rest assured you are not getting a grey market or black market DJI drone but an official drone.
Hint: Both Adorama and B&H as well as the NYC store are on the US authorized list.
I doubt it very much. Until the tariff thing is figured out we are embargoed. My new controller is on backorder from Adorama for the original $1299 price plus a hundred sales tax. I wonder if that will still be the case if they get more
It's a sure sign the few that were sold were meant for a different market. I bought a Pro Controller from the 'dji store' but it turns out that just means it's a dji product...the store was not DJI and DJI did not warranty it even during the first year because it was not meant for the US market. People that got the Mav4 Pro are lucky but they better stay lucky as I don't -think- they will have any warranty. Not sure on that at all but I won't be buying until I am sure I am getting a Mav4 with a warranty (I just replaced my Mav3 Pro using fly away...). I'm guessing it may actually be another couple of years...The other big question is will it be covered under warranty/refresh from these three venders. The last word from DJI was it will not.

For some DJI products, it took DJI time to "re-structure" the product configuration to flow smoothly into the US. Given time, we may see the same for the Mavic 4 Pro. While all DJI products are on some sort of government list, it appears the drones have the hardest time and have the most scrutiny and because of the high price point of the M4P, there's more risk when the shipment gets intercepted as opposed to an Osmo Action 4. While I believe this move was intentional, I don't believe it was nefarious. This was an intentional move by DJI to "create pain" from the consumer market to pressure our elected reps, every other product they have is available to buy through other vender and directly from DJI.
