DJI Mavic assist

Ok my mavic 2 is still in the mail , so I’m very
new to the whole DJI “ experience “ for want of a better word .
I only have an iPad to work with but I found on DJI download page the DJI assistant for Mavic 2 but it’s only for windows or Mac .
Firstly am I missing much if I don’t get the file ?
Is there a way around it ? .

You need DJI Go4 to fly the AC, this can be downloaded from the Google app store or the Apple app store depending on the device you are using.

DJI Go4 can also be used to upgrade the AC / RC firmware.

DJI Assistant 2 is software for the pc where you can upgrade/refresh the firmware of the AC or RC, if the DJI Go 4 firmware upgrade process does not work.
