So I crashed my 2 Pro and have sent it to DJI. Since I have the Refresh policy, do I get a new drone or a refurbished drone? Has anyone had any problem with the replacement drones?

it just depends what they have to replace your drone, it will probably be a refurbished drone that should be fully functional as if it was new ,depending on what damage there was to your drone it could also be the same one fully repaired you wont know till you get it back

Should be a refurbished drone, in new condition. Rarely would they return a ‘new one’. Kinda like an automobile company. You buy a new care expecting perfect working order, you crash it into a tree and insurance pays to repair, not replace. Manufacturer’s defects would most likely result in new replacement! Personally, I think the refurbished option is a wonderful offering by the company to keep you flying as most crashes are result of pilot error. (And, oh joy, do we read about crashes on the forum.) Automobile companies won’t do that!

I have had two experiences- both positive. Crashed Mavic Air and broken front sensor- got a new refurbished drone back and sold it on e-bay. Second drone was Mavic 2 Pro- crashed- replaced with refurbished. Got new one back in about 7 -10 days and it is liker a need drone for me. I sent to Dallas Texas DJI facility.

You won't be able to tell it from new..except in my case it didn't have the neat decalgirl skin. I sent mine in for the controller. They wanted both. Mine was perfect, but..you can't complain too much about a new drone. You'll get your old props back.
By the way I bought a nice gimbal guard for the Mavic Air 1 on Ebay. It came by slow boat from China but it's easier/faster to use than stock and was really cheap.

I got my Mavic back from repair, after a week I was uploading my flight records and noticed a American flag on the left next to a UK flag. So I reckon some dude in the states had my drone had my drone before me. To be honest the drone I got back is fine and still is after 18 months

My experience was positive. I was circling something tall and thin, and managed to hit the top. The drone comes down in kit form. Gathered up the bits and sent it to their European facility in the Netherlands.

I assume my replacement was a refurb, but it had all the stickers on as if new. Nice new box too. It could even have been a new one! Either way it's functioned perfectly and I've added tall posts to my avoidance list - along with trees.
